If you want your walls to be decorated with posters of Mariusz Lewandowski's works, you need to follow three simple steps:
- choose and order a poster from our store.
- wait for the courier :)
- frame the poster.
At this point there is often a dilemma - what frame to choose? Do you leave a strip of unprinted space between the frame and the poster or choose a frame perfectly sized for the work? Choose a simple wooden or metal frame or, on the contrary, a wide, richly decorated one?
There are many types of frames available on the market. For posters depicting works of art, several of them are usually used:
- thin wooden frames
- frames made of powdered steel
- aluminum frames
- wide wooden frames.
All frames are available in a variety of colors. It is good to think over the choice, so that the frame itself does not distract from the work presented. Usually frames are used in subdued colors, matching the color of the image, or in the color of the passe-partout surrounding the poster (this is a cardboard frame around the work, placed in the frame).
Another consideration is the proper protection of the poster. Prints are easy to damage and get dirty. Therefore, we should choose a frame with glass (ordinary or anti-reflective, if the work is to be hung in a sunny place or lamp light reflection is possible) or plastic - Plexiglas (acrylic glass).
Posters can be put in frames that fit the size, but if you have a problem finding a perfectly matching frame or want to optically enlarge the work, you can use passe-partout.
